Thx for the ideas but I replaced the heater core 2 months ago. So it's tight. everything in the engine bay is dry. There is nothing leaking from
The front of the transmission to the front wheels....

Yea I'm one of the lucky ones with external slave. This fluid that appears on my garage floor is really puzzling. Do any other clutch lines Feed it other than the slave?

Look at the thread linked above. The pictures of the heater box bolt locations are very helpful. The hard one to find is behind the valve cover. Make sure you bully a heater core with the bracket...

I guess I was mainly referring to the soft top. I have removed the seam sealer for a couple inches either side. And I am gonna go the welding route. Now just need to find one in the area
