i replaced a sloppy rancho that was 2 years old with a monroe from advance auto..works great and inexpensive..also think the warranty is pretty good too

thinking of buying 98 tj for 2k??

friend of mine is selling his son in laws 98 tj for 2000.00[at least to me] got 111000 miles and runs great.its rough though,needs tlc and a muffler,light body work,top kinda nasty and small...

i seem to be doing alot of night driving lately..my factory lights..well...down right suck,they arent the least bit bright,high beam helps,but not much..i have fog lights,but they are to bright to...

so i did get 2 turns on each of the new tie rod...

so i did get 2 turns on each of the new tie rod ends and rotated tires .i noticed now i can go 70 and its a s smooth as can be. guess your right..i had "regular wobble" not death wobble..

had 1st "death wobble" today

after installing the 2" BB and and alignment..had my 1st experience with the dreded death wobble.though it was minor and went away quickly,i had it.hit a good size pothole at about 40 and away it...

how common is valve cover leak on 2.5L

ive been noticing oil dripping from back of motor,not much but i can smell it on down pipe..appears the valve cover is leaking around the rear of the cover.has 135K and nothing else is leaking. is...

installed the 2" rear budget boost spacer with the flat spot in..noticed no ill effect from doing so...in a related note..2 of the 4 upper shock bolts broke..it gets better everyday with this thing!

was curious why the 2" BB has the flat spot on it? i see on here the flat spot is outwards..appears to look better if its facing in though[imo]... i thought maybe it was for making room for...

i went with 2" budget boost and skyjacker shocks..mainly cause of price.i hear they ride "softer" than most and thats what i wanted.plus i dont do much off roading either.should be decent with the 31...
