I've searched WF but couldn't find what I was looking for...so here goes...

Does the location on the Jeep matter? I understand about grounding and such but would a rear bumper mount be better...

Just had a similar problem, thought alternator at first, Jerry suggested the battery terminals. Did the Advance Auto battery/alt test and all was good. Changed the terminals and things were better...

I really like my KC Slimslites. I went with the 100w driving lights, with the front bumper mounting bar. Nice and bright, east to install. I highly recommend these.
