Mine does this exact thing and it will spray you if you are holding the nozzle. So I stand back or to the side and it stops a few seconds after it should.

It shouldn't leak or be wet. Sometimes water gets in from the back window area toward the tailgate by the zipper. If it gets in, it'll just evaporate to the top and make it appear to be damp.

Mine was loud till about a month ago. The Velcro is what was super loud until I took it to Phoenix and it was hot enough to do something (melt lol jkjk) and now stops the Velcro sound.

I bought the smittybuilt full replacement top from 4wd.com and love it. Cost me $237 shipped. Can't beat the price and quality. It fits snug and tight. Looks great and the zippers are top notch IMO....
