I know the rear isn't bolt in. But it's really easy to move the perches in the rear. Not so easy in the front, so that's why I was worried.

Also, what would be the best way to high steer one of these axles? If my research is correct, it looks like the spring holes are 31.5", so it should bolt in.

Width between J20 front springs?

I found a set of axles out of a 1980 J20. Dana 44 front, Dana 60 rear, 8 lug. Does anyone know the width between the front spring pads on one of these? I'm curious to see if they are close to bolt in...

4.88s and 31s will be terrible on the street. 4.10s are already pretty low, but I loved that combination when I had them. If you really want to go any lower, I'd do 4.56

Put the locker up front unless you're getting rid of the D35. Don't waste any money on the 35. Even then, I think a front locker is the best idea. It seems to help pull up you up and over obstacles...

Send it to the scrap pile. Track bars aren't needed with leaf springs. They already do a great job holding the axle in place.

They may have been too tall for what you wanted. I actually got about 6-7" of lift from them. They may settle some, but they haven't in the 4-5 months that I've had them.

They ride a lot better than the bastard-pack 2" springs and the 4" Rustys Offroad springs I had. And TONS better than my friends 2.5" Rough Country. Flexes great, too.
