The manifold with the flex joint on E-Bay. Mines been on three years with no problems yet. Just buy a good Fel-Pro gasket to install and use copper spray on the gasket.

Betcha a donut it's the axle shaft u-joint. Jack up the front and have someone turn the steering wheel to full lock left and right. Look for any play in the u-joints at the ends of the axle shafts.

Dana 35/30...you don't have 5.38 gears. Just jack it up and count the revolutions of the tire vs. DS as described above. You PROBABLY have 4.11 gears. My 97 2.5 5spd runs about 3000rpm at 72-75...

Well I replaced the thermostat and radiator cap. Did another flush too and it seems to be doing better now. I think the stat was stuck open.
