For the convenience of having them work with Hi/Low beams, or not using them at all, or all at once, instead of flipping switches all the time. My jeep is also my daily driver.

yup, taped it off and sprayed like 3 coats on em, look great... clean em up real good before you start... i believe i wiped em down with a little ammonia mixed in with water... and then sprayed em...

i would guess my jeep is right around 6'4" actually... i am 6'0" and i would guess its 3-4" taller than i am.. with the hardtop definitely at least 6'4"
