I've seen 6700 on edmunds.com, 8700 on NADA, and 11700 on KBB. I know a local place nearby selling two 2000's, one is 11900 and the other 12900. Thought about starting mine at 10,000 and working down...

Get a 6"kicker dual voice coil sub rated for 1 or 2 ohms. Don't buy the 4ohm version. I replaced mine with a Bose from an Oldsmobile for $20 off of eBay.

I don't know how much faith I'd put in those charts. According to digits 1-9 my TJ is a 2001 but the 10th digit puts it as a 2000. Also the 6th digit is different for those years. One says mine is a...

I did read post #3 before I posted, but my question was not answered. I was merely asking if you thought it was the torque converter issue or an intended use issue. I felt like if the 700R4 was used...

I've seen this comment before but have always seemed a little confused by it. My 89' C/K 1500 came with the 700R4 and a 5.7L that was rated at 190HP. Even the 4.3 Vortecs in early models used the...

I guess it depends on how hard you want it to hit. I replaced my console sub with a 6.5" Bose from an Oldsmobile Alero. It does a good job. I just can't afford to lose any space in my jeep
