Time to replace me leaky slave cylinder

Total noob at pulling the tranny. Any tips for it to go smoothly? I've read that sliding the trans back on the skid plate is one to to go about it. I do have a tranny jack - so - still looking for...

There are a lot of things going on there. I guess the best would be to go back to the basics. Check to see if it's getting "the big 3" - air, fuel and spark - and then work your way back from there....

Need some help with soft window uppers

When I bought my Jeep the PO gave me an extra set of window uppers - but they don't fit. The posts seem a little too big even though they go into the door and they sit about an inch and a half too...

Sure sounds to me like a blown Slave - or line leading to it.

If the master bled completely dry then you're going to have a hard time getting it to pressurize without bench-bleeding it.

If the motor has a carburetor just let it sit...

If the motor has a carburetor just let it sit overnight and change it. Any pressure should bleed down by then. Not the same for an injected engine though.

Check the tension and make sure they're good and tight.
Also - oil of any kind on the belts will attract dirt and severely lessen the lifespan of the belt. Not a good idea. Not to mention the oil...

We're gonna go again in a few weeks. Have some weekend things to do until then. But it's a great ride - and one of the trails is significantly more rugged that you can see in the videos on YouTube....
