Bear in mind, the drive shaft will be shortest at full extension of the suspension. This is a result of the control arms traveling in an arc.

Lol, you have not seen them because I made them. They replace the shackle mount and frame area on a YJ/CJ. I fabbed and installed them on my buddies YJ , his frame was like your description.
