Ive been looking at either a G2 d44 or an 8.8 swap. After seeing the hell my buddy just went through with an 8.8 swap, I'm still undecided. Pro of the g2- it will be bolt in.

Did you modify the 4wd linkage? Most bodylift kits come with a bracket. The rattling by your feet may be the transfer case trying to shift from 2hi to 4hi. IE, its kinda stuck in between.

I just did the zone 4.25 with nitro shocks and discos for 585 shipped. Looks great, but sways a bit on turns. Might just be the height im not used too!

The way I tell them apart, is besttop has a piece bolted on the body by the side windows. Part of the frame sits in a hole there.

OEM hooks to the bracket on the rollbar. (2 holes)

Yes, when engaged in 4hi/lo the left light remains on. The light on the right (next to the shift arrow) does nothing.

I figured it was just a "dead" light, but wanted to make sure.
