If you never remove the top it will not leak....

If you never remove the top it will not leak. Once you take the top off, you will most likely find leaks, because you put the top back on wrong. They are easy to x, don't worry.

I had a Lange manual top lift for my yj way back in 1995. It took less then 30 minutes to install. Now I have the electric version for my jk and it was about an hour and half to install.

Yes 44 psi is high. I run 35 x12.5 on 17 on a '13 JKUR and I keep them at 32 psi hot. I did a chalk test and this is a good psi.
