My 2-door has an 18-gallon tank, according to the manual. When the fuel light comes on, it takes a little over 14 gallons to fill it back up.

I think the 4-door has a larger tank.

I wrapped a shop rag around the shaft, slid a pipe wrench just below the knob, and gave the wrench a couple of "firm" taps from underneath with a rubber mallet. The knob popped right off.

All I have is a hardtop, and the persistent rain in Iowa has kept me from removing it. I have plenty of experience with tarps from walmart and harbor freight, so I'm looking for something better....

The front plate mounts between the fog lights; the holes are there from the factory. Iowa requires front plates, and betwixt the fog lights is the only place I've seen plates mounted on JKs.
