1.5" spacers will work. Your picture shows a rubicon, but in your thread it just says JKU. The Rubicon wheels are the slightest bit bigger than 6" backspacing, but you should still be able to get by...

You're right Sinister. Didn't even see where he said he had the stock rubi wheels. They are 6.5" backspacing. Therefore with the spacers, you're still a half inch from the golden 4.5" backspacing.

Might have to add some washers to your steering stops. You will lose a little bit of turning radius, but not much. Also, not insulting your maintenance but are the lower control arms installed...

The base (JBER) actually has some decent trails. Some that are pretty dang long too. You could definitely spend the whole day back there and not run over the same puddle twice.
