You're in the ballpark there but you might be a little low on the lift and I can't imagine finding 35"x16's at $200 ea. You should also figure in a steering upgrade. I did the Currie and I'm happy.

FT's 4" kits come with a drop pitman, a drop trackbar bracket with cross brace stiffener. It also includes control arms.

The 3" kit does not have those items.

I had the same noise on acceleration after my 4"...

I had the same noise on acceleration after my 4" lift.
I traced it to the rear springs popping in the perch. I rotated each one 180 degrees and the popping has been gone for over a year.

Bump stops are a given. A body lift or cutting isn't and flat flares DO increase available room for up travel. I've done it.

Obviously, with enough mods 35's can be run without any lift but that's not what he asked.

On the pavement it's OK but offroad I find it's a little faster...

Literally, just turn the springs a little.
I lifted mine from the bumper with one of my forklifts and rotated the springs 180 degrees.
That was probably 2 years ago and it hasn't popped since.
