The built-in antenna will work ok for a close group on the trails but it will quickly lose range if you get spread out. Maybe a max range of about a quarter-mile. I eventually added the external...

I bought my seat covers before they had the optional lumbar support. What don't you like about them? I was a little disappointed I didn't have that choice considering the JK seats aren't the most...

I agree, nix the dual stabilizer and put that money toward a decent tire carrier. In fact, I'd question why a shop would even suggest installing a dual stabilizer.

As others have said, you're not...

As mentioned, KC now has LED lights. I have the 4" round LZR LEDs on my bull bar and I'm very happy with them.

I'll admit I also just like the look of round lights on the bumper area vs. square...

I don't know if they are the cheapest, but I highly recommend Happy Trails 4x4. They are a jeep-only shop and I've trusted them with my regear/lockers and other work that I've had done there over the...

I try to go off-roading at least once a month, preferably a couple times a month. I'll hit Osceola about 6 times a year but I really like going north for some more terrain. Unfortunately, that...

My kids are now teenagers and I don't haul them around like I used to, and I still love my JKU. Off-road, you adjust to the longer wheelbase. I'll own it until either it dies, or I do.

A buddy...

I use a Midland 75-822 handheld with a Firestik Firefly antenna and I get as good reception and range as anyone in my jeep club. I didn't want a permanently mounted CB so it's worked well for me. My...

I use the Staun tire deflators. They come preset to 18 psi but can be adjusted to a different cutoff. 18 is what I use.

For airing up, my ARB on-board air will inflate all my tires back to 30 psi...

In addition to what's already been stated, I'd want the original shop to do the 500 mile inspection since they would be responsible for any warranty work. I wouldn't want to give them a reason to...

Good advice. I try to always go offroading with someone else, but I'd be especially careful about Flagler Estates. Some of the mud holes are deeper than they look and can swallow your Jeep. Plus, the...

That sucks. At least it's not as bad as the WK that came out to Osceola about a year ago, and on the very first water hole, hydrolocked it. He had to get towed out and ended up replacing the engine....

We're meeting at 8:30 and leaving at 9:00 so it looks like we'll miss you. Maybe another time. We go out to Osceola fairly regularly.
