The tick is probably a lifter. Marvel mystery oil helped mine but it would still occur sometimes. I've found the Lucas oil additive helped the most as far as oil additives go.

Kargo master has mounts to attach Yakima cross bars to the cage. I used them to attach my basket to the cage they were kinda pricey $100 but i already a had a yakima basket so wasn't too bad.

I think a couple of washers will probably cure it. Cheaper than buying spacers if it doesn't work.

I have 265/75r16 tires on mine with a .75" spacer...

I have 265/75r16 tires on mine with a .75" spacer on the front. Rubbed on the sway bar at full lock before i added a washer to the steering stop. No issues rubbing anywhere else. I'd get the 265s

I wouldn't hurt a TJ not sure about that JK though, maybe try the JK forum, but no it won't hurt it they are just smaller.

Thornbirds are terrible. The M/T MTZs, BFG KM2s, or Cooper STTs would all be a good choice for mud tires on a DD. The Trxus MTs are great mud tires and are ok on the road but I wouldn't put them on...
