Are the springs sagging at all in the front like many first year JKs do? If so, 17 with a spacer may lift it a bit more than stock 18 with spacer.

They should be noticeably tinted. Mine were tinted (3 windows on hard top). Even in bright sunlight, you can still somewhat see into the back but it'll still be tinted darker than the front doors. ...

I thought that was a cool feature on my '13. My 2009 Patriot had regular cupholders. Wifey's 2010 Patriot has illuminated cup holders and I though that was a cool feature. Now my '13 JK has them....

I just got 18.2 mpg with A/C on, pulling a small utility trailer, and rear fully loaded up into the mountains on a camping trip for 4th of July (18.2 for entire trip). She's just over 7 weeks old.

I was in the same dilema. Found a nice '12 with 13k miles but opted to spend a bit more get a zero mile '13. Go with a '13 and upgraded it as you please and budget allows. :)
