Speaker wires have nothing to do with the fuel pump.....unless while under the dash you broke or disconnected something, if this started after you were under there then that's where to look.

If its the serpentine belt it has to be really tight...also check the idler pulley, it may also be shot and they will make noise.

K seal will work, there are a few others you can find in most auto parts stores, just remember, if it will seal a cracked block etc it will seal other stuff......

If you replace the thermostat, get a 195 and one with vent hole in the top.
Your expansion tank should be filled to the cold level , best to check in AM.
Make sure your radiator cap is the right...

My 94 would drive you out ...something is not right. Either the thermostat is stuck open or heater core is plugged....does the blower work ok? Also check the heater doors under dash, they work on...

I got one from Oreillys and it fit OK on my 94, came with a spacer if memory serves me or I used the one off the old pulley.

In the AM open the hood and using a hair drier blow warm air on the ECM till its warm and try to start it, if it starts you know its the ecm capacitors.....do a search on how to repair,,
