i've had that problem twice, but with the 4.0.....turned out to be the crank sensor both times...have you run the OBD for codes?

first, you'll have to remove the windshield channel for the soft top as well as the tub channels...and yes, any YJ hard top will fit.....it just drops into place, bolts down along the tub rails and...

The 3 speed autos have adjustable clutch...

The 3 speed autos have adjustable clutch bands....it's a fairly simple job if you have an inch/pound torque wrench. If not, take it to a shop.About 1 hour labor plus new filter, gasket and fluid..

take the fuel line loose on the tank side of the fuel pump..turn the key on and see if there's fuel flowing...if not, it's the pump..

you can check the codes by turning the key on and off 3 time....the flashing light on the dash is the code, in sets of two.....example:.....3 flashes, pause, and then 3 flashes is code...

that box comes from the multifunction switch in the steering column...it controls everything that has to do with the steering column....dimmer, wipers and such....good news is the it looks like it...

Yes....disconnect the fuel line on the inlet side of the filter and turn the key to on position....should get a strong fuel flow if pump is ok....be sure to position a catch pan under the line

It's really not necessary to change the entire...

It's really not necessary to change the entire assembly if the float and sending unit is working ok...just replace the pump itself for less than half the cost..

did you clean the IAC when you changed the throttle body?...how about the TB gasket?...is it leaking?
