TJ's have coil springs. YJ's have leaf springs. There is no way he had leaf springs under his TJ unless he switched them out, which would be a very involved and useless swap.

Yes, it is not a hard swap. You might have to drill a little bit to put on the windshield channel above the windshield and the frame rails on the rails of the tub. Other than that, it is bolt/snap on.
