Both use the same engine, and both have the options of both transmissions, so really, the only difference between the two that would make a difference is not much: the Rubicon has beefier (larger?)...

Sorry to sort of hijack, but why did Jeep close the gap between the front bumper and the edge of the fender on models outside of the US? Is this for other countries safety standards? Just a thought.....
