I did my 94 about ten years ago and it held up very well. Last fall it had a few spots that had worn thin so I stripped it down and redid it hoping to get another long time out of this new job.

Muddeprived, I cut a couple 2 X4s then drilled holes on an angle inserted the PVC pipe in three locations then placed it on the fender wells.

My 94 did the same thing. There is a fuse located on the firewall just to the right of the battery, pull it clean the holder well and use a new fuse. This cured my stalling problem.

There is also a relay mounted on the firewall just to the right of the battery. Pull it apart replace the relay and clean the contacts very well. This is what my 94 needed.

I had a similar problem it was the relay on the firewall. On my 94 the relay is located just to the right of the battery. I cleaned the plug and changed the relay and have not had the problem since....

On my 94 2.5 liter there is a relay mounted on the firewall next to the battery. I pulled it apart and cleaned it very well and that fixed my no power to the pump problem.

It sounds like it is coming from the upper front end. Like a valve slapping really hard. Jeep has 107k, so not leaning towards a timing chain, yet.
