Why bother with wiring .... Get the small key ring remote on Amazon and stick it under the roll bar padding. Can't even tell it's there.

I got the Yakima because it looks better and easy...

I got the Yakima because it looks better and easy to remove. Did not like the look of the bent tubing Thule. Works fine with my one road bike.
