I certainly agree to an extent. Sometimes the bug hits and I just have to go through that 50 yard hole. I just don't like the idea of using an entire day of mudding to push the limits. I feel as...

Because there is really nothing you can "upgrade" for mud. It'll eat up any component you dunk it it. I've gone a time or two, and just don't want to deal with 3 days of cleaning. So much to go...

If you want a laugh head over to the JK side and see their rust threads. Pull in out all the stops for a brown drive shaft or their axle being patchy. Meanwhile I literally have a 2x4 hole right in...

You're approaching new frame territory. Take a hammer and start bashing the frame. If the metal is good the hammer will bounce back. If it acts like a dead blow then that area is rusted. Chip away...

You're probably better off looking at metric sizes. Federal Cougaria MT's are pretty cheap. Had 4 if kine mounted and balanced 183 each. $800 out the door. Things are loud.

Considering your budget for shocks, you really don't need anything else to run a 2" lift. If you're going for the minimalist approach and not going off road, then you can get a set of shocks that...

Good luck, then. Below that you're really only left with white body shocks, which are all the same. Quality starts around $60. Skyjacker currently has a rebate on their shocks, so they should come in...

Heat and a deep 11/16 socket if I remember correct. It's a big bolt so don't be shy and use some extra leverage.
