I've had the AEV for 2 years as well. Bought it through Quadratec. They sell it now for $830 (unpainted). I paid another $400 (I'm guessing now) to have it painted.

Are we talking soft top or hard top? Hard top should have no issues with whatever you use. When I'm running with my soft top, I pack a small spray bottle of "Greenworks" glass cleaner. No ammonia.

From what I'm aware of, the Max Tow package gives you just the 3.73 gearing (at least on a Sahara), 2" Class II hitch receiver, and 4-pin wiring connector. It doesn't beef up anything else.

It will be interesting to hear their answer. Personally, I wouldn't, but that's not because of the soft top windows. It's more because of how (in my personal experience) Rain-X doesn't perform well...
