The plugs changed at some point. If you have a newer TJ then it will be plug and play as hosejockey said. If it's an older TJ it won't be plug and play. Chrysler does sell a kit with the correct plug...

Why exactly is our fuel crap now? The short answer is no, stick to the lowest octane. Higher octane gives you no benefit with our low compression engines. And definitely don't go buy a crappy tuner.

Letting the MC run dry isn't going to hurt it, but it does introduce air into the piston and other parts that can be very hard to get out. This is why people bench bleed. It's exactly what it sounds...

Just splice plugs in. As far as the lights there is a fuse behind the glove box that you remove to keep the interior lights from staying on, but function normally otherwise.
