I don't know if a sye will cut it with 6" of lift. You may have to do a motor mount lift as well, although I'm not certain. I would do some more research if I were you

Check for a leak at the back of the valve cover....

Check for a leak at the back of the valve cover. They both run to the same place and can look the same. It's hard to see back there but if you stick your hand back there you should be able to feel it.
