I am trying to hook up an after market fuel guage. I have a v8 conversion with no computer. The instruction say to hook at 12 volt source and ground then a wire to the sending unit. Can I spice...

I did not mean the speedometer cable but the harness to hook the lights from the speedometer and also the RPM gauge harness. I ordered replacement rpm and speedometer expecting just to plug them...

I purchased a 90 tachometer and speedometer for my yj but it does not plug into my harnesses...is there a difference between 87-91 harnesses...can i splice the wires.

Ok jeep starts up..ended up replacing the spark plugs after I charged the battery over night. it started right up...now here is my other problem...I replace all the wiring...but I was not to sure on...

It did not sit..the guy I got it from drove it quite a bid. I will look into the fuel situation tomorrow...any other ideas.

Help..Yj will not start...need ideas

I bought a 90 yj with a chevy v8 conversion and it is a constant 4 wheel drive.(quad trac). I knew when I got it I would have to rewire it because the wire job on it looked sloppy.

I put this off...

This is my second yj. It is a 90 with a chevy 350 in it. Automatic constant 4wd. I picked it up a few months ago as you see it. I just purchase a new softtop and found some halfdoors on craiglist....
