Yeah I went onto another trail and now I felt it slip. If they are saying the chain is worn I could just replace the chain and not have to rebuild the whole t case

Yeah I was told by 4wheel parts that the transfer case chain was stretched, but I shifted it into 4wd yesterday to do a trail by my house and saw no signs of a worn out chain

I have a 4.0, the spyder gears broke a little while ago and I got it fixed at 4 wheel parts and they told me that the chain on the transfer case is worn out and stretched and said I should get a new...

4wd with worn out t-case

I have been told that my tj has a stretched out chain, but wont slip in 2wd. Do you think I could still be able to put into 4 wheel high.

T-case loose chain

i have a 1998 tj and when i first let the clutch out in 2 wheel drive it will jerk and and feel like somethings loose, but the chain will never slip. How can i tell if its a loose chain. Its a np231.
