Personally I would rather get her like a CJ 5 or something. TJ's are a pain to work on IMO. YJ's are dame fine Jeeps all around.

One problem can lead to another. I know the feeling. Easiest place to start is a HUGE tune up. Oil and gas change, spark plugs and wires, oil/gas filter change, cap/rotor, fuel pump, engine/radiator...

There's three bolts and I can't remember the size of them but they are torx and it's a pretty easy dis-assembly. Make sure to use some penetrating oil, WD 40 or PB Blaster. Anything to make them old...
