New thermostat replacement

99 tj was running very cool of the 210 degree mark.

Here's some insights.

Take both hoses of the thermostat.

Take the belt off.

I didn't at first, just led to lots of aggravation. ...

I just replaced the upstream and down on my 99 TJ. Bought Bosch from amazon, they were repackaged, $25 each 2 day prime shipping.

They were brand new w some tape on the box. So far so good....

Today is rear pinion seal day

Today is replacing the rear pinion seal on my Dana 35. The back of the pumpkin is all wet.

Any suggestions on removing the pinion nut, sprayed it w PB yesterday. Will be getting after it later...
