I just did the re-wire with my '04 Rubicon and love it. We don't use 4lo much here in the sugar sand and mud, so it was necessary. I did the same thing as here but used a switch with a security cover...

Wondering if anyone has trimmed the original flares on their TJ ? I've got a 2004 Ribicon that needs just a bit more tire clearance. I've got 33-12.50x15's on 10" wide wheels with a 2" spring...

Do you have any information on decoding the VIN ? If not, go to your favorite search engine and search for "AMC Engine codes. It will tell you everything you want to know about your VIN.

Actually, it's not a build sheet, it's a printout from Chrysler Group LLC when I asked them for a copy of the build sheet.

Shows: DSA Anti-spin differential in the rear axle section.

I've got a 2 1/2" Rubicon Express lift and 31's. I like it alot, not too tall, and difficult to get in and out, still enough clearance for everything I do off road.
