I would be more concerned with the ball joints and brakes than the shafts. If you truely wheel were 37 and up are needed the balljoints will not live for any length of time under that level of use....

One thing to keep in mind is the glare from the hood. It's considerable with KC Daylighters. If you are considering Rigid D-series lights the D2s are quite a bit brighter than the regular duallys.
