its load difference on the engine that causes it...

its load difference on the engine that causes it with the a/c on, while it isn't connected directly to the trans it does effect it indirectly.....

Check the Hydrolics, i had a cherokee in the shop not to long ago with the same issue and we replaced the clutch master/slave to fix it..

Sounds like a restriction in the system to me, causing the pressure to go to high and trip the pressure switch. Check to make sure your condensor isn't clogged up with mud/dirt first then like pirate...

I would hook a manual temp gauge to it and see what it say's, it could just be a faulty temp sensor.
