I went over it with a fine tooth comb, well really a flashlight, a clean white towel, and a creeper. They had a bay all set up for looking cars over and were kind enough to lend me the creeper....

Go crazy with PB blaster. I sprayed mine twice a day for ten days and still ended up using a breaker bar on most of the bolts. Also a dremel with cut off discs is good for getting into tight spaces...

It turns out the steering box is shot as well as the lower column bearing. I'm going to use the steering box from my xj, and the bearing kit is on the way from quadratec. Also on the way is a rocky...

The jeep I bought recently came with a Viper 10k winch mounted on the bumper- kind of. The cable was in the back seat, as well as a bag of fried solenoids, some brand new solenoids, and 2 remotes.
