If you want to keep the puddle from forming on the duster, just jam a big water bottle in the folded back seat. That's what I do for a cheap solution. Don't get a windjammer, they're pretty useless...

LEDs are usually always dim-able. Fluorescents on the other hand are not without a special ballast. So you should be good no matter what. I put red in my dash and can dim them no problem
