As was said, replacing the clutch isn't too bad (except those top 2 bolts) if you have time, tools, and can afford the thing being down a few days. If not, a clutch kit should be around $200 or less...

It likely wasn't broken if you didn't drive it. I have adjusted bands on our Durango by hand. Guessing 6ftlbs with a 1/4 inch ratchet isn't too hard. Just readjust it and see what happens.
