If the installation instructions show three and there is only two then there is a problem with Smittybilt. Don't sound like much of an issue to me. I don't believe they will fall off.

That is a factory slip yoke with a double carden d/s. Any TJ with 4" lift could really use a SYE kit especially if offroading.

You should have the 30rh and the 6cyl would have the 32rh. Bell housing are the same and so are the output shaft splines (23). Not sure about the overall length.

What did the temp gauge read? Sometimes new engine smells can fool you. Loose sand I would ride in 4lo. Its less strain on engine. Check you coolant level asap.
