x2 a dead critter in the heating duct somewhere. That happened to me with an old Datsun pickup. I found a mouse nest and dead mouse in the heater duct under the dash.

I have a '91 yj with 2.5 and I'm totally happy. Like it's already been said here, It's not the best highway vehicle around, but I travel almost 400 miles once or twice a month and I can hold 70/75mph...

I own a '91 YJ 2.5. If I install a 2" spring lift, what else should I consider. Will I need a SLE or a transfer case drop down? What about shackles or shocks? My off road driving is mostly old mining...

Can't argue with your thinking. I think pretty much the same way. It's just that a friend has a JK and we were talking about all the controversy when the first Wranglers came out with the new design....

Isn't a ground fault a wire on the positive side--always carrying a charge-- that has somehow--worn insulation etc.--made contact with a part of the frame or body that creates a ground that can drain...

1, Just 'cause it has sat for so long and some of it might deteriorate with age...

Hmmm..Elevation change, maybe, but I would think GAINING the elevation for most of the way would cancel any benefits but it's worth checking out...so 5 out of 10 for that explanation.
