Yeah that has been my experiences as well but the distributor is tight and I know there wouldnt be enough slack to jump in and out of time with only 84K miles... It is strange...

As long as you have a factory rear end it does...

As long as you have a factory rear end it does not matter.It will not work with the ford rear end but that should have had disc to start with.Also FYI I thought I would mention when you do this...

I converted my 97 over to rear disc.I got mine from Ebay,they were off of a 99 Grand Cherokee.I got the backing plates,both calipers with hoses,both rotors and same as new pads for $89 with shipping...

Next time try to just bump it(turn it over till the very second you hear the starter engage and let off) a few times and then on the 5th turn of the key let it try to start and see if it does.

I can not find the picture but is it on the floor only?I think the default setting is the defroster(goes to defrost when there is a problem) If it is floor only the flap may be stuck.

Normally rocking it forward and reverse to fast while stuck or wheel spin on one side while the other hooks up.pretty much the same way axles get broken.LOL
