Have a buddy selling an 05 trailblazer, anything useful for a jeep?

He's selling it for dirt cheap,, does anyone know if any of it can be of use to a jeep? Engine is an I6,,, I just have no clue! Anyone?

Axle swap or gear ratio change? Am i missing something here??

I have started to look into regearing my 93 yj w 4.1 ratio,,, currently have the stock d30 ad d35,,, was quoted 2000$ for parts and label for the ratio change.... Also looked at complete ford 8.8...

Def will not go higher thn 33s, and it's my daily driver, maybe 2 miles to work,,, just really struggles going up hills around town and on interstate!! Lots of hills where I live and just looking for...

Which gear ratio would be best for my setup?

Finally gonna regear my 93 yj !! I currently have the i6 with automatic 3 speed and 2.5 inch lift on 32s.... Once these tires wear out I will probably go with 33s.... What gear ratio would work with...

K, and I was under the impression that an sye is always a good idea for protection of the transfer case. I broke a ujoint about a year ago and living in the mountains I have to climb hills every day....

Going to order a cv driveshaft and sye.. Few questions..

The rear pinion currently is pointing parallel w transfer case yoke. Is there a way to tell what degree shims I would need to purchase to make the pinion in line with the new driveshaft as is...
