It is possible that the 12VDC you are using goes...

It is possible that the 12VDC you are using goes away during cranking. Try checking power to pum p while cranking and see it it goes away......if so... find an alternate source.

Batteries MUST be run parallel................ with that kind of MOJO going to a winch..... I would encourage a two battery...
