Sillet it is a little hard to tell from the pics but it kind of looks like the tire isn't touching the hinge portion. Make sure the carrier is adjusted in so that the tire is snug against the hinge.

In reality the 3" lift is more than 1/2" taller, and in many cases guys that want to run 3" lift and 35's do not need the 8 arm kits.
