I had my gears in my D44 redone for less than $600. You need to shop around your area. I would not recommend doing it yourself. It requires shimming and specialized tools.

It's ok I found my answer if anyone else cares to know in the future. I found a local shop that will re-tube my drive shaft and balance it out again. It will cost about $100, not too bad.

Yes get an adjustable track bar and do it right. Drilling a hole can move it to the correct position but drilling that close to the existing hole can't be good.

Remember to adjust your bumpstops...
