For the love of God, is there any way to stop my seat from squeaking?!

The first time the driver's seat started squeaking, my jeep had maybe 3000 miles on it. The dealer first lubed it, but then called to tell me it would take longer, because they were going to replace...

Leaving the windows out in the sun all day in the baking heat cleared them up in a few hours. WHEW. Was worried there!

Brand new 2014 JK with half doors -- windows are now foggy

I left my half door uppers in the MOPAR upper bag. The bag attaches to the back of the rear seat in my JK, and it has felt dividers to keep the uppers from scratching or contacting each other. I have...

They already replaced the seat bracket. Squeak sounds different now but it has reappeared. Mostly squeaks when making high-G turns.

Anyone else having problems with a squeaky drivers seat?

I've already had it fixed under warranty once, and now it is starting to squeak again. It drives me crazy, a brand new 2014 shouldn't have a squeaky chair!!

2014 warranty repairs

So far, I've had to have a few things fixed on my 2014 (2-door, half doors, Sport package, 7000 miles). Has anyone else had these issues?

1. The doors leaked. The left quite a bit, and the right...

I just ordered mine custom that way. Cost me nothing extra. It's a LOT easier to find full doors at a junkyard. Hell, if you have a common color you can even find them painted and in good shape. But...

I'm mostly loving my half doors. They're really quite loud at 70mph. Not enough to offset the awesomeness of being able to remove the uppers whenever I feel like it, but enough that it annoys me a...

Jeeze, you had the perfect opportunity to ditch the painted fenders and go with a set of black fender flares, and the VDP end caps, and pocket the difference :)

Nuts are cheap and easy. Any hardware store will have grade 8 nuts. They might not be shoulder nuts, and in that case you'll need to add a washer too, but it shouldn't set you back more than 60 cents...

That's not true, I was able to find a couple in Florida and Arizona with half doors already on them. The one in Florida was everything I wanted (even the color: Dozer) -- except the 3.73 gears. That...

The way I understand it, Trac-Loc is electronic - brakes applied to mimic limited slip. Limited slip is mechanical, and doesn't rob any power to do its job. If it's primarily a street rig I wouldn't...

I would also consider the limited slip rear differential. It's a cheap option, and well worth it even if you don't think you'll need it. If you get stuck, you'll wish you'd paid the extra $195.

Test drive a 3.21 and a 3.73 before you decide. The 3.73 has LOADS more power. It's much, much more fun to drive. The 3.21 feels sedate, the 3.73 is an absolute blast to drive.

If you think you...

Left half door on brand new 2014 leaks.

Less than 3000 miles on the vehicle, and the carpet on the driver's side is soaked. The window appears to be leaking at the top front seam, then down the A-pillar under the plastic, and then into the...

2-door: How to put the top up without scratching anything?

There does not seem like there's an easy way to put the top up in a 2-door.
