sooo how are they on TJs? i understand a K5 and a TJ are quite different in sizes and weight but i havent seen anyone mention...

i just knew it had the capability

but ive seen online that its a thick green wire....but dont go by that, idk how reliable that source is

yea i was racking my brain trying to find a circuit i could tap that was "switched" with the engine...then i had a DOH! moment and the cig lighter circuit came to mind

some fans have a post for a/c if yours does, tie the hot wire from the a/c clutch to that post

behind the cig lighter is a light blue wire (the + for the lighter, at least on a 2000), just use a quick splice to connect your yellow wire to that light blue wire, neaten up the wires and...

when i try to turn the a/c on, with the temperature knob on coldest it doesn't come out cold, nor does it even come out as just ambient temperature air, it actually comes...

1.one for battery power (were the amperage will come from)

2. and one that when voltage is detected on this post, the fan "knows"...

yet another A/C problem

hey guys,

A/C crapped out not to long ago...

now it lets out air thats actually hotter then ambient (even on settings w/o the little snowflake)

if its not something mildly easy....im taking...

i thought the alternator supplied the electricity while the engine ran...

so that one could remove the battery from a car,...

slight alternator concern

ok so yesterday i noticed when idling my voltmeter drops down to 12ish...and when i rev it sometimes goes to 14 but usually sits at 13...

a new alternator should be in my shopping cart...shouldnt...
