Get a 6cy and be done with it, jeeps are bricks on wheels and get horrible mpg. Get a 6 and you have power, regear to keep that power as the jeep gets a lift and mods.

I would still check the ujoint. When you put the clutch in it takes the torque off the shaft and is able to free spin causing less of a load. Checks ujoints first then CAs.

I always take the cover off and service them, I have never heard of sucking it out with a straw. I always do it myself, lube shops usually are expensive to get them serviced. For about $28 I do mine...
