It's primarily a liability issue - they don't want to dela with lawsuits when people try to pull 10K lbs and tear everything up... so they simply say 'not for towing'.

We removed the 5.5" springs last night will be swapping them for 4.5" springs today - this should get the TJ back down to a reasonable height.

The RR Mega-short SYE uses an inductive pickup sensor - which has a different plug than early TJs - hence, you have to cut and solder the wires. I have installed 2 of these and haven't had any...

...not being locked in either axle would only work on pavement...where your drive tire wouldn't slip... even then, I'm not really sure since it will unload the drive wheel.

Front spring..

The upper extended bump stop keeps it from flopping out...

It also has lower bump stop entensions that keep the lower in place.

I'm going to add keepers to the lower point as well.

..with SYE & CV Driveshaft - as said above, you'll ruin your driveshaft if the pinion angle isn't right.
