If you want to not have the tips so extended and low hanging. Remove them and cut the pipe down then reinstall the tips

It also gives you a few mounting options. Front seat, rear seat and cargo area. The reviews I read lead me to believe you will have to mod to keep down the rattling and gun movement.

Weld some angle iron 1" on either side of the plate the hi lift bolts too. That should strengthen that weld. I had 2 2 gal containers and the rocking side to side while off road cracked the weld.

You have to be careful not to cut thru the hood...

You have to be careful not to cut thru the hood braces. The hole saw at the corners helped identify those areas

A dewalt with a thin wheel might work. But it might be too big at 4.5"

Plenty of room. I installed 1.5" mollies and mounted the rear of the gun rack. The way it was before took 2 people to install and tighten so it wouldn't come loose from the front footmans loop

Looking to install 2 1" long metal drywall mollies to have a better mount for my Perfect Rack gun rack.
